Thank you SpiceWorld 2015!
We shouldn’t be surprised, but SpiceWorld in Austin, TX was a great show. Arguably the most relaxed and comfortable of the IT tech trade shows we attend every year, it’s also the caliber of attendees that continue to astonish and humble us here at Horizon DataSys.
Unfortunately (well, for the people who tried), not one of ~750 tech pros who were there were able to crash our instant recovery software RollBack Rx. Tried and true methods were attempted (the hex editor one is gaining popularity in recent years, but not quite enough to bring us down), but alas the software stood the challenge. Great tries all around, and remember, there’s always next year (or EduCause, our next show in Indianapolis at the end of October!).
Aside from the daily chats on the floor, there was plenty of fun to be had after-hours as well (as it always goes with SpiceWorld). Micron put on an amazing Star Wars-themed party, and then there was the dinosaur.
After three days of insightful sessions, snacks, talking with vendors and attendees, and eating more snacks, Horizon DataSys returned back home to Vancouver, BC refreshed and ready to work.
We’d also like to thank the good folks at ITPro.tv for interviewing us about our software. We’re always happy to discuss our Windows system restore software, the PC time machine, as well as our restore on reboot products Drive Vaccine and Reboot Restore Rx. Looking forward to that video!
Once again, big thank you to all those who took time out of their day to speak to us. We know how valuable time is in the IT world and we greatly appreciate the time you spent with us.
