Because all of our software products are available as free trials before purchase, we encourage you to fully evaluate any product before buying. This policy reflects our commitment to fairness for both our customers and our business.

Free Trials Available

All Horizon DataSys software products are available as fully functional trial versions at no cost. We strongly encourage prospective customers to download and test any product prior to purchasing to ensure it meets your needs and is compatible with your environment. 30-Day Self-Service Refund (Digital Purchases)

If you purchased through our online store (powered by Cleverbridge), you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase — no questions asked — using our self-service refund portal.

To qualify for a full refund:

  • The request must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • The refund request must be made through the self-service portal above

Where can I access my order information?

Technical Support Before Requesting a Refund

If you’re experiencing a technical issue, we ask that you contact our support team before requesting a refund. Many issues can be resolved quickly.

  • Submit a support ticket within 10 days of purchase
  • If our team is unable to resolve your issue, we will guide you through the refund process

Refunds will not be issued solely due to lack of pre-purchase research, as all products are available for evaluation prior to purchase.

Refunds After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months)

Refund requests submitted after the 30-day window but within 6 months of purchase may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a processing fee:

  • 15% of the original purchase price, or $10.00 USD, whichever is greater
  • Original transaction fees and applicable taxes are non-refundable (see below)

To initiate a late refund request, contact our support team with your order details.

After 6 months from the date of purchase, all sales are final.

Non-Refundable Items & Fees

The following are non-refundable in all circumstances:

  • Applicable sales tax / VAT — automatically calculated at checkout based on your location and applicable law
  • Original transaction/processing fees — already remitted to payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  • Annual support or maintenance plans — these services are activated and rendered immediately upon purchase; future recurring charges will be canceled upon request, but paid fees are non-refundable
  • Custom or personalized license bundles — once generated and delivered

Billing Errors & Failed Deliveries

If a technical error results in a billing charge without product delivery, or a partial/incomplete transaction, you must report the issue within 24 hours of the transaction by emailing our billing team.

If no claim is received within 24 hours, the transaction is considered complete and final. Please retain your order confirmation email as proof of purchase.

New Version / Upgrade Guarantee

If Horizon DataSys releases a new major version of the software within 60 days of your purchase, you are entitled to a complimentary license upgrade to the new release at no additional cost. Review our Software Upgrade Policy.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of your license and account. We are committed to resolving all issues fairly and promptly.

Auto-Renewal Policy

Purchases made via our online store (Cleverbridge) will renew the Maintenance Package automatically at the end of each billing period unless the user opts out. You will receive a reminder email roughly 7 to 15 days before renewal. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Privacy & License Revocation

Because software licenses are delivered digitally and can be duplicated, Horizon DataSys reserves the right to revoke any license issued in connection with a refunded or fraudulent transaction. Upon refund approval, you are required to uninstall the software and cease use in accordance with our End User License Agreement (EULA).
