30-Day Return Policy
All of our products provide try-before-you-buy downloads and support. However, if you have made a purchase and require technical support, simply contact us within 10 days of your purchase with a support ticket. If we cannot resolve your issue, we will gladly give you instructions on how to proceed with a return. Refunds will not be issued based on buyer’s lack of research prior to purchase. Our 30 day Return Policy is subject to restocking and shipping fees that apply.
Try Before You Buy
Software purchased online through our website is considered opened at the time of purchase.
There are evaluation versions of our software available via download to anyone interested. This allows all prospective buyers to evaluate the product at their leisure to ensure that the software meets their needs before purchasing.
Software that has been purchased online is provided with free e-mail support via our support portal and may only be replaced with identical software / media within 30 days of purchase.
Due to the nature of the products/services offered at the Horizon DataSys website, it is not viable to offer refunds on any online product purchase. This is directly caused by the fact that products and services purchased on this site are generally rendered immediately and cannot be returned or undone.
Unlike physical goods, electronically distributed software and software licenses can be duplicated. Once a license has been issued, it is unfortunately not possible for us to recall all copies. Therefore, Horizon DataSys does not accept product returns or exchanges beyond the 30 days after purchase.
Since you have the ability to fully test our software prior to purchase, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for online orders after 30 days from date of purchase.
All credit card purchases from this site and any sub-sites are non-refundable beyond 30 days of making the purchase.
Website credit (“rain checks”) will be issued if a technical error causes your purchase to be incorrectly rendered. If a technical error causes your transaction to only be partially processed in the case where you have been billed but the product was not rendered in full, you must make your claim via email within 24 hours of the transaction.
If no e-mail is received within 24 hours, the transaction is considered complete and the sale is final. Any claims or issues must be initiated via e-mail within 24 hours of the transaction.
New Release Upgrade Guarantee
If Horizon DataSys publishes a new version of software, within 60 days of a purchased software license – The customer will be entitled to a FREE license upgrade to the new release
Processing Fee/Applicable Tax
A refund will be issued for the cost of the item minus the original cost of shipment/download and a 15% processing/restock fee or $5.00 – which ever is greater.
Any support or annual maintenance fees will be cancelled for all future recurring charges. However, any paid annual support fees can not be refunded, as these services are rendered immediately after the time of ordering.
The processing fee is a combination of administrative fees along with online transaction fees for VISA, Mastercard etc that have already incurred. This amount is charged by our payment gateway, Cleverbridge. In the case of software serial numbers and registration – license(s) must be revoked as per the directions of Horizon DataSys technical staff.
A CD Media ordered with the license key is non-refundable as each ordered media is customized per user.
Any applicable sales tax/VAT charged during the purchase of the product is also non-refundable as those are automaticaly calculated by our e-commerce portal Cleverbridge and charged depending on geo-location and applicable policy per location.
